Top 3 Signs That Prove That You Are Your own Boss
Updated: Sep 9, 2022
Are you out of the 59% of the people who think that a 9-5 job is an obsolete thing of the past? Suppose you feel that slaving under someone or some institution has become unbearable and you have been meditating on whether to start something of your own. In that case, this article is a sure-shot sign that will give you a push to chuck an office job and be your Own Boss. Following are the signs that show that you are ready to start something adventurous.
1. You Hate Someone Ordering You
Whether it is a friendly demand or a typical order, you just hate people telling you what to
do. You believe you can finish the task without anybody giving you unnecessary suggestions and asking you to do your job. Well, you know how to "do your job" and you do it superbly. Just anybody, your colleagues, or your boss "instructing" you something triggers unrest and helplessness that you feel you can easily avoid if you have the sole authority at that job.
2. Your Goal looks like a distant dream
You have longed to do something that you're very passionate about, but, with your current job, that looks like a distant dream that keeps fading away. You know your worth, yet don't feel appreciated enough. The paucity of time and energy that you otherwise spend in your job doesn't allow you to focus on your dream goal(s). Slowly, the responsibilities cloak you so much that the ultimate "throw in the towel" hits you hard. You wish to have enough time to prioritize reaching the goals that can be more fruitful and keep you happier.
3. You feel exhausted all the time
Not only are you physically tired, but you're also emotionally drained too. Are you on the right path? Is this what you always wanted? Feeling lost is a number one symptom that you do not align with your life purpose. Your body starts showing signs of exhaustion. The simplest way to find that out is clear thinking- ask yourself, what is my goal? What am I here for? Is being in my current job going to help me reach my goal?
Being your boss surely is not an easy task, you have to put your 100% into it. But the reward is that innate happiness that keeps you going. If you feel an incessant calling towards something, do not take it lightly. Make a concise note of the pros and cons of the step you're going to take. Be aware of all the consequences and face them. If you're smart enough, you can juggle your current job till you've reached stability with your business. Millions crave to be their bosses, but only a handful take the first step, and a lesser who are consistent thrive. And those who do, are the contended ones who thank themselves to have taken that One Step.
